We identify the right tools for your business, build the right solution — out of the box or custom built — and train your team to use them with confidence. We work the way your business needs us to work.
Our Services
Advise, Build, and Train are each complete, standalone service offerings. Some clients engage us for all three. Many come to us for just one. There is no required path.
Most Microsoft 365 environments we walk into have the same problems — they just show up in different places. Underused tools your team is paying for but not touching. Processes that started as temporary workarounds and quietly became permanent. File structures that made sense three years ago and now nobody can navigate. We have seen all of it, in every industry, more times than we can count.
An advisory engagement starts with a clear-eyed look at where you are. We go into your environment, talk to the people who use it every day, and identify what is working, what is not, and — critically — why. Then we give you a prioritized, plain-language roadmap for fixing it. No 50-page consulting report that sits on a shelf. A clear list of what is broken, what it is costing you, and what to do about it.
Some clients hand that roadmap back to us and say go. Others take it and run with their own team. Either is a good outcome. We are not here to create dependency. We are here to give you clarity — and leave you in a better position than we found you.
Build does not mean custom development. It means we design and implement the right Microsoft 365 solution for your situation — whatever that looks like. Sometimes it is getting your SharePoint environment organized with a structure your team will actually use. Sometimes it is mapping a business process in Planner so nothing falls through the cracks. Sometimes it is a simple Power Automate flow that eliminates a manual step someone has been doing by hand for two years.
And sometimes it is a fully custom Power App, an AI agent built in Copilot Studio, or a complete Microsoft Teams implementation from the ground up. We work across the full spectrum — out-of-the-box configuration, process design, workflow automation, and custom development — and we bring the same standard of work to all of it.
We step in wherever you need us. End to end, or at the point where your team’s capabilities run out. The goal is always the same: a solution that fits the way your business actually operates, built by people who have done it before.
Cookie-cutter Microsoft 365 training is the standard. It can work — but consider a medical practice managing patient communications and a construction firm tracking field crews. Same tools. Completely different worlds. Why would their training look the same? We don’t think it should. Every program we build is fully bespoke — designed from the ground up for your organization, which means you also get something off-the-shelf training almost never delivers: content that reflects the platform as it exists today.
Microsoft 365 changes fast. Faster than most training content gets updated. Screenshots go stale, menus move, and labs built against last year’s interface stop working without anyone noticing. When we build your program, we are building it against the version of Microsoft 365 that is live in your tenant right now — with your tools, your workflows, and the features your team will actually encounter on Monday morning. Just-in-time training, not just-in-case content that was current eighteen months ago.
The format is whatever fits. A quick reference card for a team that just needs the basics on their desk. A Lunch and Learn to get everyone aligned before a new tool goes live. A full multi-day curriculum with live instruction, hands-on labs, and guided exercises — delivered onsite or virtually. We scope every engagement to what your team actually needs to walk away knowing.
Tell us what you are trying to solve and we will show you what is possible.
Start a ConversationWho We Are
The 365 Collective was built on a simple truth: most businesses are already paying for more Microsoft 365 capability than they are using. Our job is to close that gap — by assessing what you have, building what you need, and making sure your team actually knows how to use it.
We are consultants, architects, developers, and trainers who bring deep platform expertise to every engagement. We are not a staffing firm. We are not a software vendor. We are practitioners who design, build, and teach Microsoft 365 solutions every day.
About The 365 CollectiveTraining Services
Generic Microsoft 365 training does not work. Your team learns tools in the abstract, goes back to their desk, and nothing changes. We build every program around your environment, your workflows, and the outcomes you need to see — from single-session Lunch and Learns to full curriculum development. Everything is branded for your organization and becomes your property upon delivery.

We let our clients speak for us. Here is what they have to say about working with The 365 Collective.
Scott and his team have been great to work with! They are great communicators and very knowledgeable about SharePoint. They guided us through a successful transition from an intranet to SharePoint, making sure that the platform is designed to meet our goals and needs. Additionally, they trained our staff in an easy-to-understand manner so that it has been a smooth transition! We will definitely use Scott and his team for additional work in the future. I highly recommend!
Stephen
CIO, Wealth Advisory Firm
Scott and his team are some of the best consultants we've found. They are so easy to work with, fast to respond with questions, and always ready to help. They helped us with licensing questions, a complicated migration from G-Suite, ongoing engineering work, SharePoint implementations, Power Apps development, training for our employees, and more. Can't thank you enough Scott!
Jamal
CTO, Enterprise Sales Organization
Scott and his team is very talented, knowledgeable and professional both as a subject matter expert and in-person trainer. We initially hired Scott to just create an SoW for the training program but based on further conversations and his ability to bring more color to the program, hired him to actually present the whole program to our client. Our client was super happy and pleased with Scott's performance and knowledge. Super happy to work with Scott again and recommend him to our network.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does The 365 Collective do?
The 365 Collective is a Microsoft 365 consulting and training firm. We help small and mid-sized businesses get real value from the tools they are already paying for — through environment assessments and roadmaps (Advise), custom implementations and solutions (Build), and instructor-led training programs built specifically for each client's organization (Train). We also offer focused coaching engagements for organizations with specific questions or problems to work through.
What industries does The 365 Collective serve?
We have delivered Microsoft 365 engagements across healthcare, finance, construction, engineering, publishing, retail, wholesale, and logistics — serving clients from two-person businesses to organizations with hundreds of employees. We work with clients across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Do I need to hire you for consulting to get training?
No. Advise, Build, and Train are each complete, standalone service offerings. Many clients come to us for training only — without any prior consulting engagement. We design and deliver training programs for organizations at any stage, regardless of whether we built or assessed their Microsoft 365 environment.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes — the majority of our clients are small and mid-sized businesses. Our typical client has between 5 and 100 employees. J. Scott Clark runs his own small businesses on the same Microsoft 365 tools he recommends to clients, which means the advice is grounded in the reality of operating at that scale — not in enterprise assumptions scaled down.
Who is my point of contact when I work with The 365 Collective?
J. Scott Clark is the single point of contact for every client engagement. If your project requires specialists from our team, they come in alongside Scott — not instead of him. You always have direct access to the founder and CEO throughout your engagement.
